Picked up a new little fishy. it's really little. Only about an inch in size. I wanted 2 but the lfs only had one. he's a great little sand sifter and doesn't create sandstorms in the tank like other sand sifting gobies.

Also picked up some sps. I had to get rid of a lot of shrooms and anthelia and some frags. so i unloaded on a LFS here for $75 store credit and walked away with $150 worth of new rock and coral. $25 plus trade value is all i paid.

    It's a twinspot signal goby

my other fish have really paid no attention to him. the two spots really look like a pair of eyes staring at ya.8)

gobies never cease to lack the personality.

also picked up some more SPS. Ive been waiting to add more after the first 3 i got but wanted to see progress before adding more.

enjoy the pics folks. hope you like em

that digi in the middle is really hot pink in color.

Right now its a mixed reef but it looks like im starting to get rid of the softies for more color in sps. slowly this tank will be SPS dominated. Now if only i can find a clam i really want...:-/

Great looking tank, the gobie will eat mysis and shellfish if you can get it to him.

thanks for the kind words people. Karma for everyone

The goby is getting more comfortable with the tank. These gobies, like many sand sifters, are considered difficult to keep due to their feeding needs. so far he seems to show quite the interest to cyclopeeze. i shut off all pumps and gently blow cyclopeeze near the burrow and squirt directly into the sand for him. As well as sinking pellets.

Now being a "newb" with SPS, is there such a thing as a beneficial acro crab? ~~~~~~PLEASE ID IT~~~~~~

Acro crabs are beneficial, they remove detritus that the acro can't.

Can anyone ID this sps for me. picked it up for $1.99;D. only about 1.5 in.
the pic is not the best but it is at a hard spot to shoot.

I love my new goby. if anyone is looking for a sand sifter than will not create massive sandstorms in the tank then this guy is the best. even better when kept in pairs.
