I bought a WC adult male blue mandarin in my 29g. I got him to eat bloodworms with the jar method but he wouldn't eat anything else. So I ordered some nutramar ova. I put a frozen chunk of prawn roe into the jar and in 30 secs he was in the jar gulping the eggs by the hundreds. So worth the $35:eek:

That's what I've been saying. It's great for feeding corals, too. Wish more people would try it!!! Get your LFS's to carry it.

Many LFS's are not as up to date as we are. It sells, so they should carry it. Two stores near me sell it now, but they had to be told about it. Before that, I had to drive to Chicago, or buy it online.

If said store does not buy from Quality Marine, they are SOL on purchasing any Nutramar product. Nutramar is a QM product and only self distributed. Chicago has some good wholesalers, so many stores use them rather then flying fish in from 104th (California)

I have called every fish store within a 40 minute radius. None have it and only 1 has heard of it. I feed my one tank reef caviar (similar to nutramar) and had wondered why my fish had become so robust. I then looked at the nutritional values of all my foods. The reef caviar was at least 6x higher in protein and fat compared to any other food. These foods are simply amazing and really keep fish looking plump. I wish I could get the nutramar to keep my mandarin fat since he wont eat reef caviar.

Im not paying that either thats why I wish some LFS's would carry it. 25 dollar shipping just isnt worth it.
