    Skimmer currently sitting in my 40g sump. Water level is 12in. As you can see in the pic, I have the "bubble" level. Is that about right? or should I adjust it lower/higher? It has only been running for few hour. Thanks

    It could go a little higher IMO. As you start to build up proteins in your tank it may need to be adjusted again. You want it about halfway up the neck.:)
