I am really liking your setup! Very nice.

I just started a 55 myself and plan on making it a reef as well :). Will certainly tag along to see how yours goes.

    Current readings are:
    Ammonia -1
    Nitrite - 0
    Nitrate - 0
    Phos. ~0-.25
    PH - 8

Should i remove the shrimp now thats been in there decaying? or let it sit until i show nitrite and nitrate readings?

also, What is this fuzzy stuff growing on my rock to the left? and in the middle.. tube worm?

maybe.. some sort of a sponge?? love the scaping!! if you go with a goby or the eel make sure you have some sort of top on the tank or they will jump out!!!

You can always use egg crate for a top to keep things from jumping out. My local pet store does this with their octopus tank.

I have a new 3 minute video of my 125 reef.

It's been up and running about 8 months.

It has a DIY 'intank overflow', which leads to a large flow DIY HOB overflow, and to my
50 G DIY sump, with PS and Chaeto.

    Hope you like it.

Please click on the video in my signature.

Sorry, should have started my own thread, I will do that.
