I have a brs reactor and gho but I stopped running it actually because i accidentally bit the flow switch to full and filled my tank with gho then it was getting clogged with floating algae.. That's how bad it got lol. I think I might stArt it up again now since the problem is getting a little better.

Ok good, tested nitrates today and they read between 0-5 so it's gotta be the phosphates workin the ghA right?

I'm glad you decided to come back and update. Your tank looks great and I'm really not seeing too much of a bad GHA problem but that's me.....You've done a great job for your first salt that's for sure!

I got it at my local shop if, I think it was like $65. My first and only major coral purchase. It was doing good for about 6 months than had a rapid decline and is no longer in my tank.. pretty cool coral though especially when it was fully out.

Obviously, continue working on your phosphates and such for the GHA. Now that you isolated the picture I see what you're concerned about. Have you read any of the threads about using peroxide on hair algae? I used the method on one of my rocks that just seemed to attract it and it worked as promised! Of course, you do it rock by rock but it sure beats scrubbing all of the them all of the time...just an idea.
