yes yes yes i did. I just contacted the seller. I emailed him the following: Eddie we have a slightly large problem. At the bottom of the tank were the silicone job is, there is a small crack. I am registered to 3reef forums and they suggested i go to you. I really dont mean to put this on you but i dont know what to do. The tank isnt leaking yet but it is definitely cracked. I attached some pictures of the crack. Please respond asap so we can figure something out.

    Thanks,
    Ryan

AHHH im going to pull my hair out!!!

    an update!!!

    Hi, Ryan

the glass is diamond mitered on all edges (in and out) and cracks dont
just come out like that. it looks as if something hard had hit it and
caused it to chip. it isnt a crack yet because cracks usually mean when
the breaking point travels in one or many directions and it is pierced
through from one surface to the other. chips are generally much safer than
cracks because they wont travel further than and will stay in place since
it went into the glass and then out already. you can also caulk some
aquarium silicone and then smooth out in the spot for added protection.

The tanks are all warrantied for leaks, seam failure and not cracks due to
the breakable glass material, but if you decide that you rather have a new
tank, i will only charge your for the material and shipping.

Our material only cost is: $100 and the shipping is $32.47 to your location.

Thank you and please let me know if you need any further assistance.
    Eddie

i think im just gunna pay the 130 bucks and have an extra tank to make a new reef!!! (and keep the existing one)

he seemed mad but thats just cause he felt the pressure of 400 spankies on his back. HAHA

You seem awfully happy for having to tear apart your current tank lol.

haha well maybe part of it is my room is being redone and all new stuff is being put in and its going to be done tomorrow but idk. Anyways i was saying i would just, as he said to do put some silicone there and seal that off. Then, i would pay the $130 for the new tank and set that up somewhere else. JK im not that evil. or am I?
