Well, this past Saturday I had to say good bye to a new buddy and hello to a new one. One of my new misbars died sometime Friday night. He wasn't himself since I bought him, he never really wanted to eat, so I knew it was a ticking timebomb. I bought them at my local Petco (yeah yeah I know lol), and the girl dropped him on the floor from the specimen container! I think that stress was just too much for the little guy and was downhill from there. The other is perfectly fine, but seemed lost that his tankmate was missing.
Well, I went to my LFS and picked up another "normal" clown and a green bubble anemone for the tank. Now I'm having a hard time figuring out if the labeled "Ocellaris" that I bought from Petco is actually an ORA misbar Percula and the labeled "Percula" from my LFS is actually an ocellaris. In any case, my misbar is submitting to the normal clown and twitching. My LFS clown is already playing in the anemone and my misbar is looking on, slowly figuring this thing out but hasn't dove in yet.
What do you guys think? Sorry the pic is bad, it's from my cellphone. I'll try to get a better picture tonight. Obviously the misbar is on the right and the normal is on the left. :)

well, your ORA misbar is more than likely an ocellaris, and not a percula fwiw.

If you have a better picture, you might be able to count dorsal rays.

I have a feeling both are ocellaris, because it's easy to take the "false" off of false percula, instead of calling it what it really it, an ocellaris.

Thanks for the reply. I figured they were both occellaris too, due to the coloration on them not being a dark orange/red. Both were under $15 as well, though the misbar was a steal hehe. I'll see if I can get a good picture of them, though the new one seems to like the camera, it took about 10 tries to get a side profile. He kept looking directly at my phone everytime I tried lol.
I looked at ORA's site with True Percs, but it doesn't matter to me. They get along and seem to be pairing up and establishing hierarchy already. :)

My local Petco sells Oc as Percs. too. But on the other hand the fish manager is a reefer so that section is actually pretty decent. She'll straight up tell ya they're not percs but can't change the labels. lol

The Petco I got mine from were actually labeled "Ocellaris Clownfish" and specifically "Ampipheron Ocellaris" in the genous section of the sticker. The one that remains in my tank looks exactly like the percula in ORA's website, aside from the coloration. I'm sure that my LFS mislabeled their clowns though. There were at least 3 occellaris in the tank with percs, though they said all the fishes in the tank were percs. They also said that 2 of their clowns in separate cubes were picasso clowns, but were actually just misbar occellaris. They looked EXACTLY like my 2 misbars shown here. They wanted $40 each for the misbars, real picassos would run about $120-200. Even for misbars, $40 is a good price. But after getting mine for $10 each, I couldn't see spending $40 on them lol.

That's pretty good, most places will sell them for major bucks.
I'm hoping I can get mine to spawn. :)

Here are a few pics of my clowns. Any thoughts on what they are?
The misbar rarely raises his dorsal fins, so it is really hard to count his out.

I keep counting 9 rays on my normal clown. I'm still trying to get a clean picture of my misbar. If I keep counting 9 or 10 rays, it looks like it's most likely a percula?
