    Do you have burrowing animals like pistol shrimp? It's easier for them to build their burrows with this sand. If not, I would go with the Fiji Pink Aragalive.

    will the Live Sand be enough to start a cycle in a new 29 gallon tank???

    I wouldn't go with any sort of live sand. Just because it is wet doesn't mean it's live. I would go with a nice textured dry sand and seed it with a cup of sand from a friends tank or even from your lfs. The live sand is so full of phosphates it is not even funny. just my .02

    I agree 100%. Bagged LS is a joke, and an expensive rip off to boot.
