Well as of right now no, besides upgrading the lighting to a SunPod with a Ushio 150w HQI 20k (thanks to who referred it to me!) g

And am planning to turn the second chamber into a refuge, (scraping out the back section) and adding a light to the back. Shows you how here

There are media baskets that you can put in the Biocubes bio ball compartment. This is a bit pricy... But I'd recommend it. BioCube 29 Package Deal - Aquarium Filtration Upgrades & Supplies it comes with a media basket, a fuge basket, and a "fish saver" to keep inhabitants from jumping into the filter compartment. In the media basket, I would use purigen(a useful phosphate remover that I've come across...), chemipure, and filter floss. Then in the fuge media basket I would put chaeto and a small light such as this: 10W Underwater Light as for job of covering the tank... Why not use egg crate?

thanks for the advice!! do you think that idea for the light ( the link i posted) would work as well as the underwater light? And good thinking with the egg crate, do you think that would make my light not as affective?? or possibly melt?

Hey there stranger! Seems like most of your questions have been answered. As for powerheads, I would look into korilias. Marine depot is having a 20 percent off sale for a while still. I picked up another one for my 14 gallon cube and there is a bunch of flow in it now. Id buy two of the 750 gph ones personally for that tank.

The other lighting link looks great. :) and seem inexpensive. I can't think of anything but egg crate.... Don't forget you need a spot to drop food, syphon water, etc... You could get a piece of glass cut! And in the front corners leave spots for food to be dropped in. That wouldn't interfere with the light, and it could be removed during water changes. But it would most likely trap heat from the sunpod. I would start out with egg crate. It's inexpensive and east to cut. If you could, also put egg crate on the bottom of the tank, under the sand, to keep liverock from scratching the glass bottom. But if you get one thing from that site I provided in my previous post, definitely purchase the fish saver... You'll need it. :p

And one more thing. The egg crate wouldn't make your light less affective... The worst it'll do is cast shadows intO your tank. I've never used egg crate, so I'd never know. :) and I agree with Norg about the powerheads. Two Or three Koralia EVO 450s would be all you need.

Im thinking maybe to have 2 pieces of glass cut, about 3 inch wide each, one that covers the back compartments, and one that fits the front curve about 3 inches wide too, short enough where theyre not interfering with the light
