I am hoping any of you have some experience with an Oceanic Chiller. I tried calling tech support today but they are already closed. When I plug in the chiller displays the temperature and when I set the chiller the unit does come on and indicates it is cooling (the temp does go down). The problem is that once the temp is reached it turns off and the temp goes back up and the unit will not maintain a constant temp (the only way to cool again is if I reset the desired temp).

The heat function works as well with my heater plugged into the unit. Same issue as cooling (once desired temp is reached it will not come back on and the temp will drop).

    Thanks in advance!

Sounds like you have something messed up in the set up. Do you have the manual to look at???

I have manual but it is not really that much to setup. I received a call from their after hours tech support and they are going to send me a new model. The technician thought there might be something wrong with the internals. I'll let you all know if it continues after I get the new unit (in which case I will agree with you that I screwed up :) ).

    Thanks,
    Jay
