When it comes time to run my plumbing on th 100g, I'll be using one of these wave makers. They come in either 4 or 8 way outputs. You can also get them with one 1.2.3.4. discharge or 1-3, 2-4 discharge. Just think of all the possibilities. Their website even has several video of the units working. http://www.oceansmotions.com From everything I've seen or heard, this thing beats SCWD any day because it doesn't put back pressure on the pump. ;D

Yeah those look cool. A good way to have a million pipes in your tank too! ;D

(There is a pretty detailed thread with links on the Product Review board if you dig.)

I would definately like to see one in action in person. When I set up my new tank I did not know much about them cause they just came out. I am very happy with my sqwd/wave2k combo but this definately intrigues me.

Yea I wish I could see it in real life also. I think It's better because there is no back pressure on the pump. I had a couple of SCWDs go out on me because of calcium build up ( I tore the last one open to be nosy ). I've know a couple of people who had Sea Swirls on their f/w and they broke, everything looked fine when they were tore open, don't know what happened to them. This seems to be the next logical choice.
