Well after finding out I need a little more water movement I started searching powerheads, wave makes and pumps. I came across this system and really think its the way I am going to go for several reasons. One its cheaper then setting up powerheads to create the same movement and second its more random then anything else I have found.

I have a 90g tank with a 20g sump and currently a 700gph pump. I was thinking about this oceans motions system with 4 heads and a 1100-1300 gph pump.

Any thoughts on this or anyone running them?

Here is the link there are also videos.

i think this will work well i am also inturested in buying one for my tank. there are alot of people who have these and the last them a long time the only thing is that you have to make sure that no sand or small rock frags get into it because it will cause it to jam and possible break it

I've been running an Ocean Motion 4-way for about 5 years now. Love it

Defiantly looks like the route I am going to go with since it seems much more "natural" and the price vs powerheads is unbeatable.

a couple of things you may want to plan into the build.
    1) make sure you can isolate both the pump and the 4-way unit with valves and unions. This will make pulling the unit out for maintenance or cleaning a lot easier.
Or If you can, build the 4-way so that it is higher than the intake from the tank. This way when you shut the power off the plumbing will drain and you can disconnect components without fear of water all over the place.
    2) talk to Paul at Ocean Motion and get his input on how you want to build the 4-way into the system. That man is smart and can save you a lot of headaches
