i think with the oscellaris it just depends on the fish. i know one that hosts in a featherduster and i have one that hosts in a hairy mushroom. but others just refuse to go to anything. just my opinion

Well, a bubble tip would be the most I would attempt in an anemone with 130 watts of light...just my opinion ;D

Tank raised are less likely to take to an anemone than wild caught, IME.

IMO you need at lease twice the lighting you have now. Go to wetwebmedia.com and do some reading on lighting you'll see what I mean about needing more light.

My Clarkii clown ignored my anemone until I introduced two Dominos to the tank. Now the clown calls the anemone home and chases the Dominos away if they get too close.

    Clown vs clown

My tank-raised perculas would not go near my BTA until I introduced a wild-caught one that seemed to show them how. They fought constantly so I moved the wild-caught percula, and the tank-raised clowns took up housekeeping in the BTA. Tried a green carpet but it only lasted 6 mo. cause it would not eat, nor would the clowns go near it. (I know it wasn't likely anyway, I just like carpets.)

As far as clownfish/anemone compatibility goes, my LFS has this handy table that may help when choosing an anemone to match your clown:

    http://www.marinescene.com/FAQ/faq_anemones.shtm

Hope that helps a bit. You are gonna have to check the light requirements for each anemone before you buy, as I am pretty sure they have strict lighting requirements.

hmm well...i agree with amcraigg, even my wild caught trues (sorry! i was ignorant back then!) percs didnt take the anemone untill they both were in together (first one didnt take to it, the second did)...but hey its always worth a shot! its not like the anemone will die if the clowns dont take to it.

ps: i think one of my percs might be tank breed..im not sure lol
