Ocellaris clownfish

i know this is a dumb question but how do you know if a clownfish is male or female

 

girl is bigger

 

well really whichever is smaller. they can changes sexes depending on the conditions of the group. like if another male is needed it can change to a male and vice versa.

 

sorry, whichever of the pair is smaller is the male.

 

thanks i just have one right now but im goin get more, how many more should i get

 

one, if you have more than two they will most likely fight. although i have heard of some exceptions but please done try it.
