    Just dont introduce a water current, keep it dark and as long as you did not touch him for more than you neede it will come back, but add melafix so you dont add the problem of infection...

    He is swiming around a bit now, he lost more than quite a few scales on his head and side & yes I’ll add some Melafix. I think I’ll make some fresh water for tomorrow and set up a hospital tank in case of a secondary disease like Ich considering how stressed he must be.

    Atleast hes making it! My Oscellaris Clown Jumped out in the middle of thenight and I found him on the floor in the morning all dried up :(

    Little guy didn't make it through the night, I really thought he would. Before I find a new mate for the female I'll take a better look at making the tank safer.

    What type of lid do you have?

    Standard stained plywood top that's closed on three sides plus the top, the back has a 6 inch gap that runs almost the lenght of the tank but that too I had a screen over except one small area - he simply found it. I was considering getting a plastic flexible sheet that I can attach with velcro to make maintenace easier, that and it ould better cover up the overflow boxes. Looks like I'll do that within the week.
