    I'd rather deal with lighting then having to scrub fake corals ;) I think they are actually higher maintenance than real corals!

    Well that opinion is shared by enough people to make them the largest in the world and get there own cheeseball tv show. So when that many people vote with there wallets... I would say it makes them the best... (i'm talking specifically about building coral inserts and custom acrylic tanks, not husbandry and hobby stuff)

    If you can dream it, they can build it.

    If you keep good water parameters it's not a regular issue. The materials they use don't attract algae that bad. My LFS maintains a few tanks at the casinos in my area. Those custom inserts from ATM are like $35k for 75 gallons worth. It's crazy. But he says maintenance is nothing besides keeping clean water... Low phosphate and low nitrate means there isn't much algae to worry with.

    I looked into them for my business. To rich for my blood though. I'd rather just put together a tank and maintain it for that kind of money!
