And look at that tank! What happened man? You can actually see through the glass! And identify a rock structure! :grinthumbs: Good to see you still have the clowns. Now all you need is some corals. Actually, lots of corals! ;)

Ah, a CuC Documentation thread reader!!! ;D

I agree with you completely: http://www.3reef.com/forums/coral/pom-pom-xenia-55809.html

Hope to get this incoming week, actually.

My 2 Blue Damsels died the week after I lost power for 60 hrs due to Hurricane Ike. Clowns made it with no issue whatsoever! AFTER being my unfortunate cycle fish even.

    Thanks for your support!

I've had it for all of one day now. But so far, it rocks.

It was easy to set up... thanks to Pack's efforts http://www.3reef.com/forums/protein-skimmers/user-review-octopus-bh-100f-52288.html

As an FYI - I did not adjust my heater setting at all and the temp never changed.

Oh I know, clowns are scary tough. Mine made it through a total crash and a anemone death, without even showing stress.
And the Xenia is cool, I like mine. Go for some mushrooms and zoa's too; there's no way to fail with those ;D

Hey, quick question for either of the BH-100F owners: Any chance you could do a quick measurement of how much space it actually needs behind the tank? I've been looking at doing a skimmer upgrade, but need to make sure the new one will actually fit in there before I order it. I've got exactly 3.5" between the glass and the wall. Yea or nay?

    Thanks!

Nay. Set-up, mine sticks out 4 1/4" from the tank.

No problem. How big is the tank? Any chance of being able to move it? You'd appreciate the space the first time you have to do something back there, regardless of the skimmer

It's a 90, so no, it's probably not moving anywhere... I do wish I had given it another inch or so at the start, but all my current equipment fits, at least. Time to start researching overflows and sumps, I think...

I was adding a longer tube today so my silencer would reach the T return...

stupid little pole on the silencer broke off in the tube

I superglued it back together and it's sitting now... grrrr.
