    I run an ETSS, but given the choice between Octopus and ASM, I would go ASM in a heartbeat. A little more high end. Both are solid enough skimmers, but my choice for a 90g tank would be the ASM G-3. It's rated upto 250g (lightly stocked). The capacity tends to dip a bit when adding corals (especially SPS) or running a messy FO tank. You could probably get away with a G-2, but I would go one better for a 90.
