    I looked at around and i learned the cheapest place to get one new is directly from the U.S. supplier at coralvue.com, anyway i e-mailed the dude and im waiting for a reply, even though im still broke.

    If you have room for that, why not just do a sump/fuge?

    so then if i get that i dont need a skimmer since it has the skimmer built in.

    The only person that I can remember who has commented positively about Coralife skimmer is Bogie. I have however, have heard good things about the Octopus. Luna

    I have no experiance with that canister/wetdry/skimmer all in one unit. But from the looks of it and being from Tom, I don't think it will be a great unit. But then again, it should be better than no skimmer as long as you can shut down the wet dry part of it.
