I have a firefish, pink/blue spotted goby and 2 baby clownfish in a 90 gal aquarium with live rock, corals and an anemone.
    The aquarium is 3' x 3' x 16"tall.
All the fish hang out in the back corner and inhabit probably 10 gallons of the tank.
I'm wondering if this is strange behavior or not? It's slightly frustrating that they all stick to the back corner. there's nothing back there, just sand and a koralia powerhead.

How long have they been in the tank? It is not uncommon for fish to huddle together for a while after introduction. In the ocean there is safety in numbers.;)All the fish you have are relatively shy by nature and the fish you have will usually find a place in the tank and not venture too far from it.It may be beneficial for you to add a fish that roams a little more to get the others to be less shy but as I stated the fish you have selected are not really the roaming type.

They have been in there for a month. I added 3 pj cardinals yesterday, they ended up with the clowns today... but the firefish is now roaming a little towards the center.
I have a yellow eye kole tang on its way though, i should be able to pick it up tomorrow. There's no way he's gonna hide in the corner.

check for current in the water. sometimes fish will congregate in the place where the charge is the least.

Koralias are known for leaking electricity

Everything is plugged into a gfci outlet, it would hopefully cut the power when I touched the water if anything was leaking electricity. That and I don't think directly under and around the koralia would be the least electrified area. Other than that I have no way to test it for current.

Your GFCI will not protect the tank from stray voltage unless you have a major failure. You can go to any Radio Shack and pick up an inexpensive voltmeter.;) I really don't think that is the case here but its always a possibility and a voltmeter is a very smart thing to have on hand.
