odd little filter feeders

Hey guys im new on this site....so hello first off...second off im typing this on my phone so pardon me if i make this short lol. anyway the other night i was wistfully looking into my 120 and i somehow (dont ask me how) saw these tiny tiny little...things... on my green brain frag...they are not its tentacles...not even similar looking...to me they look like the fins on my ss goby on a miniscule scale. and the thing that really caught my eye is that they are spinning in circles grabbing particles out of the water collumn...i know wierd right?! so im assuming they are some sort of feather duster or something like that but has anyone seen these before? ive googled it and ive gotten nothing and i think they are neat and im hopeing harmless so i would just like some more info on these 3 wierd fin/fan looking thingys...yea not as short as i meant this to be and my thumbs are not happy with me right now lol. thanks in advance!

Barnacles ;D Weird little guys the way they move out, open, spin and shoot back in huh.

 

Oh wow i never would have guessed barnacle lol...thats what i love about this, you learn something new and amazing every day no matter how long you have had you tank up! I have only ever seen the ugly outsides of barnacles and there was a dead one attached to a piece of LR when i first bought it and this dude was big! So will these ones hurt my brain as they grow or will it also grow around them?

 

My hermit crabs shell well one of them has like three barnacles growing on it I laughed when I saw it
