ok I cant even get a pic of this with my 5 megapixel camera, there are tiny red strands coming out of my LR, just the one rock I got the other day. one, maybe 2 tenticales or strands per hole it looks like, I have seen them in maybe 5 places on the rock, they seem to come out and search around and move a little sand and go back in, then come out again etc. but the end never leaves the rock nor can I see if they are attached to anything, they are about an inch long at the most when fully extended and are like the size of a hair, which is why Im not totally freaking out, if they are bad Im gonna boil the rock, if would make me mad though as there are some tiny bits of coralline forming on the rock...but let me know and I'll keep searching, havent seen this one on here before...

I was kinda thinking that but they dont look like any of the spaghetti worm pics I have seen, they are spaced out, 1 maybe two per hole and dont leave the rock, this might help after some watching the ones that can reach the sand seem to be sticking to particles of sand and pulling them back with them twords the rock, now if that is intentional of not I dont know, I have seen maybe 8 tenticles total now spaced out over the rock, not a large rock but for there diamtere they have to be pretty long to be conected so I believe its several of whatever it is, hope its not bad...

ok i found a pic of a red spaghetti worm and it does say they reach out and pull in food, so maybe thats it, if so is this good or bad, and is more likely that its one with long tenticles or a few small one, like I said the length I have seen is maybe an inch, and they are spaced out on the rock, will they come out and go in the sand like they are supposed to or just hasngout in my live rock
