okay, so there's a tube worm looking thing in my tank, the tube kind of coils down the rock. I watched it for a while and it sprays out a web, and then pulls it back, assuming it's kind of filter feeding. I can't get a clear shot of it, it's not real big, and all i have is my phone to take pictures. I don't have any stock in at the moment, he kind of came along with the rock. So no pressure.

Vermitid Snail. If you don't want it just put a dab of superglue over the end of the tube.

Is it bad though? Will it potentially harm the coral I'm getting?

Some people claim the net they cast will irritate coral. In the years I've been in the hobby I personally have never witnessed this. I gave up on trying to rid my tanks of them along time ago.

Thanks a lot! He's the only one in there, as far as I can tell. How would I go about removing him?

Put a drop of super glue on your finger tip and dab the end of the tube. Breaking them off never works IME. The glue seals the snail in it's shell like a coil shaped tomb.

Ive seen threads where they take over tanks and have little to no benefit. I would work at eradication
