    Since you got a decent budget I would suggest a TEK light but that's IMO. I got my gf a Odyssea light for her nano and it works good. Replaced the bulbs for better ones than the ones that come w/ it and no complaints so far

    I get the new light for our reef Tuesday.

    I got it from Catalina Aquarium.

    I got the 8-bulb T-5 24". Got a great price and had him do custom wiring for me. Dont go by what the site says call them and the price will be alot better.

    I will post a full review as well as pics and some nice gut pics for everyone to enjoy after it arrives.

    the only problem with those lights is the ballast underpower and they fail VERY often....best bet is spend the extra money and get a higher end fixture IMO
