Keep me posted as to how this Skimmer works if you will.
I had that link saved because I was looking at it thinking about getting one!

wish you luck with that machine

    HI,
I had lots of problems with mine finally disked it and went with a coral life,
It was a pain to tune and would overflow constantly keep it it in the sump, or you may find a wet spot under it.

I think I had the P 75 maybe it was to small.

How long did you have the skimmer? Did your skimmer come with the instructions? If you still have it, I would REALLY appreciate it!!!! My email is antonio2006@bellsouth.net

    sound slike an aquatrader purchase

    Hi,
If you visit the aquatraders web page they let you download the manual for the pump/skimmer , they never send instructions with the equipment I had a similar problem with a light and finally found the instructions on their web page, had a heck of time installing the light clamp for the tank, never had the foot stands and they are pretty weird how they attach learning curve..

    A configuration issue

Hi all, I've discovered that the odyssea 160 i acquired for my tank is too tall to install 'hang-on' inside my cabinet, and therefore it appears my only option is 'in-sump' but i am loath to do this because it will take up half my refugium.

I thought I may be able to use the following setup:

I've been told however that the 'drain' from skimmers works purely on gravity, and therefore the 's' bend in the pipe would prevent the skimmer return working.

I am wondering if anyone who owns one of these could confirm this, or will the above system work in my tank?

    cheers

It might work, but I think that it will effect the performance of the skimmer. Just wondering, hows it working for you? I bought one and I must say, I couldnt get it to work like a skimmer. Luna

As I explained, I haven't installed it yet, because of space issues! As for yours, apparently you need to run it for some time before it builds up a 'slime' coating which allows it to make skimmate... give it some time.
