Anyone have or used Odyssea protein skimmers? I have an odyssea mh fixture, and despite the negative reviews on them I had zero problems with the light fixture. Just wondering how their skimmers stacked up....????? thanks for any advice

I have a 75 gallon reef tank and have Odyssea PC lights and a Jebo skimmer, which is essentially Odyssea and I have no complaints with either.

The odyssea skimmers are more than worth it.
It performs like the $200-$300 skimmers do.
I was very skeptical about them at first but now I'm a believer.
There are a lot of neigh sayers about odyssea out there and it's mainly because, in this hobby, everyone knows you get what you pay for. Which is true in most cases.
But in my opinion, I've been using odyssea products for about 2 yrs now, from light fixtures to their filter socks and they have made quite significant improvements lately and they deserve more respect and recognition.
Get the larger one. though it's quite tall. The smaller one is just too small.

The light fixture problems were solved a couple of years ago. Odyssea is a good starter product.

Odyssea stuff has improved alot. I have 4 of their light fixtures. The only problem I have had is the moon light leds on the oldest light has quit working. Other than that everything is good I did replace the bulbs with ati tho.
