My RSM is up for some new bulbs and I am thinking it would be a good time to upgrade my lighting. I am seriously thinking about picking up the Odyssea MH/T5 combo hood. I know it has gotten a lot of mixed reviews but I haven't heard anything about the quality of the lights. Anyone want to share their experience with stock bulbs or the fixture in general.

I have the Odyssea MH 250w bulbs and I like them. I would however, change them every 6-8 months instead of every yr as with other better name brands. I have had Aqualine, Blue Life SPS, generic and Odyssea bulbs and I will be very honest when I tell you that I dont see a difference between them(as in coral growth).

+1 My tank has the 3x 250w MH fixture over it now and it's an affordable alternative. I like it but have noticed that it's about time to change them out. Almost been a year for me personally.
