Odyssea T5 without MH

Ok, I know this topic has been beaten like a mule, but most everything I have searched for and read about odyssea has been about their MH fixtures.

I just wanted to know about their "T5 Professional Lighting System" Link:

I have a couple questions:
1) Everything I read about "fires" has been about their MH. Are the T5's safer? Or is it safe to say there is about the same chance as these ones buring up too? Maybe 50/50 ;D

2) Would it be worth it to upgrade the lights to ATI's and UVL's or would I just be wasting my money because odyssea can't run these to their full capability?

3) Is it possible to upgrade the ballasts in these fixtures? I read a couple people upgraded them fairly easily in the MH fixtures. I.E. Luna, MissionSix, and Av8Bluewater. Are the icecap ballasts plug-and-play for the T5 fixtures? To me this is where my knowledge of lighting seems to get hazy. I've only been in the hobby for about 5 months and still learning.

I know this topic has been asked over and over and I've spent hours reading about them on here and these are the questions I still have or want confirmation about since the latest thead I could find.

Im basically just looking for the facts as everyone seems to have their own opinion about Odyssea.

 

I have their t5 fixture on my 90 and no problems yet. the screws to hold the legs in place are flimsy but im good.

 

Only 4 bulbs though... Unless that is what you are looking for. I am using Nova Extreme with 8 bulbs
