Has any one here tried the T5 HO by Odyssea from aquatraders. I am thinking of purchasing one for mt 20 gallon long nano reef. Anyone have any opinions or info on it?

i have a 2xt5 ho odyssea fixture on a planted fresh water tank(20 gallon long). i think its fine for plants but i don't think i would recommend it for a reef tank, atleast not a 2 bulb one.

It is the 4 light fixture. It is the one on their site with no picture. I know it is short I will have to come up with a way to mount it. I am interested in the quality of it. I will probably switch out the bulbs it comes with for better ones.

If you want a good quality T5 fixture, I would go with one with individual reflectors, the one you are talking about doesn't have them. With T5s, most important factor are the reflectors.

I would think twice about that lighting swstem I have one and they are very poorly made I have been having trouble with this system sence I tryed changing the bulbs. The system I have the 760 watt one with 4 t5s 65watt bulbs and 2 250 watt metal bulbs.

so should I change the stock bulbs with some coral-life bulbs or something? or is there really not too much of a difference.
