Anyone have any experience with this return pump? It has some serious power. I'm running it at 5ft head and had to put a gate valve on it to tune to flow DOWN. My two DIY overflows couldn't keep up.

DOWN SIDE = the vibration noise in the sump is driving me insane..!!

Do you have a link to this product?

Is it a DC pump? My Jabeo 12000- is DC powered and comes with it's own controller, etc. It's also essentially silent, no vibration.

Don't know who makes it, looks like one of those MagDrives- notorious for noise and vibration.

YOu do have it on some pads?
Are you using hose/tubing instead of rigid that asttaches to the pump?
Even if it's only a shortr piece of hose to rigid, it will help.

It comes with a mount with 6 rubber suction cups. and yes I am using 1" clear hose about 2' in length to 1' PVC up and over the back of the tank to a "T".

Anything else you think I can do to help it? Maybe change the way it mounts and sits on the bottom?

That is definitely not a mag drive. Not sure what it is but know it is not that for what it's worth...

Have you tried an extra padding of some type? mouse pad, piece of neoprene, etc.?

The couple of reviews I read complained about the noise as well. Follow Todd's advice; otherwise your best bet is to get a new pump :/

I will try to add some padding to it this week and let you know where it goes from there. I'm thinking a new pump may have to be ordered.

I used pink foam insulation at my pump location and it helped immensely that was an old Little Giant MDQX4.
