    Thanks!

The tank itself is a 7.5 gallon. Display area is approx 5.5 gallons.

For a light I am using a BoostLED PAR 30 LED.

    Little update:

I have been having some temp swings issues since my office does not stay heated well after I leave. I decided I'd swap out my 25w heater for a spare 50w I had at home. However, after looking, I realized it was a Stealth Heater that had been recalled. Even worse, the 200w heater on my 55g was also a stealth!

Long story short, I took both heaters to PetsMart and got them replaced with Aqueon Pros. I put the 200w back in my 55g and swapped out the 25w in my Pico for my new 50w.

Today, I brought a piece of live rock from my 55g and have added it to my Pico:

    Thanks all!

    Here is a little update:

I've been doing water tests every other day waiting for this thing to cycle. Here are the test results

    1/30/2012
    Ammonia - 1.0
    Nitrite - 0
    Nitrate - 0
    pH - 7.8

    2/1/2012
    Ammonia - .5
    Nitrite - 0
    Nitrate - 0
    pH - 8.0

    2/3/2012
    Ammonia - .5
    Nitrite - 0
    Nitrate - 0
    pH - 8.0

    2/6/2012
    Ammonia - .25
    Nitrite - 0
    Nitrate - 0
    pH - 8.0

At this point it has been a week since I put the piece of LR from my 55g in. So far, no spikes but the Ammonia seems to be coming down slowly. I did notice little tiny specs all around my sand and rock today though. Doesn't look like diatoms yet though...

    ...Soon...Hopefully :)
