Well it's official, I am going to go broke soon if I continue these shopping sprees. Today I got the coral I soooo wanted yellow fluorescent octopus coral (also known as a type of frogspawn), hermits, 2 conchs, and a gorgeous Midas Blenny.

My hubby got a brain frag, torch coral, snails, hermits and a new visi therm stealth heater. His heater was done. The tank would be at 80 and then 74. Cheap heater of course so what can u expect.

Shopping for the reefs is a thousand times more fun and costly than clothes!

    Don't worry, it never ends.

Every time I say my tank does not need anything else, something follows me home from the LFS. :p

It is utterly ridiculous, LOL. I go in to the LFS for a particular item and walk out having spent 300-400 at a clip...Man the Amex is getting quite a workout...

    pet shops should be banned!
Fortunately, lately, I have been reaping the benefits of having too much of certain types of corals, so I have been able to trade them for something else at my local pet shop.
Bought two Maxima Tridacna clams so far in exchange for some shrooms and green digitata(montipora)!
    ALWAYS SOMETHING!

Just think a little while back you were wanting to throw in the towel...see how much fun you are having with saltwater. What else would you be doing with the money...bills, food, clothes....heck who needs that crap, give me FRAGS!

my tank worth way more than my car

    HI,
Its amazing how much you can invest in a system, its almost mind bogling,
I already owned my tank but you just are so tempted to try a bigger skimmer , or build a water top off, you know your fish love that new food that has garlic already in it, I must own 5 types of flake, 2 types of dried coral foods and 7 types of frozen foods.
Hey my fish are getting alittle plump, I was at the local hobby craft store and found a bag of snail shells for a 1 buck, those hermits could't wait to try them on.
I even dream about 2,000 gal systems like that one that guy built in Germany with the special built inlights and a sump system in the basement.
maybe I 'll win the lottery..
    hehe,
    guess what I "ll get..
The car stil runs but its a 87 camery,, hehe yea I am hooked. I am the guy at the petstore wearing a tee shirt , shorts and flip flopps buying a 60 dollar mag pump...
