    I had a snowflake that was about 2' long, power went out in the tank overnight sometime and when I got up at 10 the next morning he was dead what i was going by

    because the snowflake eel tries to bite me everytime i stick my hand anywhere near the coral. . . . it's not fun.

    I blocked off both sides of my stand to prevent my dog from getting to the back and chewing the hoses and cords. I would recommend blocking your's too, if possible.

    or you can hook some kind of low voltage setup up to them on the outside and run a grounding probe for the water, then if anything chews on them they get lit up :idea2:
