I've read thru many thread recently on the subject of grounding probes.

I really found it interesting that several posts where from 'electiricians', and even they have differing opinions about one.

What's the bottom line? Is it good? Or, does it create more current by giving the current somewhere to go? And, do you use one? TIA

I don't use one, but I would like to... I may try a home made one... no copper wires in the tank though.

If I'm convinced here, being the DIY'er I am, I would want to make one also.

I've heard either SS, or tungston? and wire it to the srew on the plate of the wall outlet, which should be attached to the ground?

Yes, or directly to the green ground cable in the outlet. Just be careful not to touch anything else or turn off your breaker while you do this if you don't have much electrical experience.

I have one. It's hooked up to a gfci. I've never tested it though but it was only $20 so I figured I may as well

I bought the titanium one off amazon for like $17! I've heard mostly positives reasons for it and very few negatives ever.

OK, I think I'll get one, or make one. Thanks

Feel free to keep posting your opinions regarding them though, I'll keep checking the post.
