A blasto merleti I've had about six months has suddenly started showing it's skeleton. The recession is on the very top of the coral. I had placed a yellow polyp very close to the blasto. Are yellow polyps capable of stinging other corals? I've read both, that they are aggressive, and that they aren't.
More importantly, will the blasto recover?
(Right now it looks like me, plenty of fluff except for a small bald spot on the very top) ;D

That has been done, and Inwall's suggestion to target feed is also being implemented.
I cut the bottom out of 1 liter soda bottle, and placed it over the blasto so the skunk shrimp couldn't steal the meal. Without the bottle cap, you can use a turkey baster to drizzle food down on the coral. Seemed to work pretty well!
