    So, I have been kind of absent lately. Just to tell everyone what has been going on:
    Since Friday afternoon, I was bad stomach pain, tons of acid, etc. I chalked it up to indigestion and just went about. Antacids where not working, and I lost my ability to eat completely. As of this week, there was no change. Last night I finally drove myself to the ER. I got full lab work done. I was suffering from dehydration. They put me on an IV, and I got a big bag of sodium chloride, along with pepcid and zofran directly in the IV. My lab work showed elevated pancreas activity.
    Right now they are thinking that I have pancreatitis, but I have to go in for full abdomen tests (CAT scan, endoscopy, etc) to actually determine what is going on. My symptoms don't really fully fit with anything. Tomorrow morning, I go in to the county to apply for aid, since I have no job or insurance. As of right now, no one will even do the tests for me. I have been put on only a clear liquids diet. So far today, I am feeling better.
    But I apologize, specially to my Reef Club and friends, for being so absent. I haven't replied to any PM's or calls or anything for a while now, so I figured I would fill y'all in on whats been up. Wish me luck and I'll see you on the flip side! ;D

    That sucks Jason...... I understand having your pancreas checked also sucks. Try not eating anything with "fat" at all and see if you feel any better. Keep us posted pack......

    man, nailed with swine flu and now this. it must just be a bad season for you. hopefully everything works out and they figure whats wrong with you.
