I posted yesterday about cleaning bio balls so naturally after posting and getting my questions answered I finished the job I was researching. Here is were thinks surprised me the bio balls I soaked and cleansed in a plastic draw using water from my hose and new salt. So i cleansed them good and put them back in my tank. This morning when I went outside to dump the water there was lost of crap at the bottom they were so dirty it looked like sand bottom. After taking a closer look to my surprise I found several living Amphibods some about half inch long there was even a few small bristle worms running about. So whats so strange about that well the bio balls were outside for around a month which Menes these creatures can live in suspended states outside of water just that id share this info feel free to comment or even offer some incite.

Life does find a way. I am not surprised at the amphipods. I am surprised with the bristleworms. Interesting. Proving once again that sea creatures are tougher than we give them credit for.

No problem. I go through the unanswered posts daily and see if anything was missed or needs to be bumped. There are quite a few 3reef articles there now that had to be manually inputted by Matt. The list grows. I am about to start bumping them here in a little bit. A few a day so it doesn't clog the New Post section.

Oh yeah. I agree. My thread is filling up with testing these days. Sometimes I think I am overdoing it, but hey, it can't hurt. Better too much than too little. And if we are wrong, and God knows I have been my share of the time, people will chime in and bring you back around.
