I have a 65g with lots of swimming space and hiding places. Right now my stocking list is:

    2 Occ Clowns
    2 Firefish
    1 Dwarf Flame Angel
    1 Mandarin
    1 Yellow Watchman w/ pistol

I was thinking another Goby/pistol combo or maybe a jawfish. I am completely open to suggestions.

I would not go with another pistol combo as the two pair would probably not be happy with each other. How deep is your sandbed?

The jawfish tend not to like other burrowing fish and see them as competition or fish that encroach on their burrows.

Look into anthias or wrasses. Both of which are very active and can add some very diverse color to any tank.

I'm a fan of wrasse. Any of the Halichoeres are reef safe & friendly full tank swimmers. Anthias are nice but everything I read alot of them are happiest being in groups of 3 or more with at least 1 male (and not more than 1).

Anthias are great, but most get too big for this tank when you consider feeding these guys. I'd only really go with Bartlett's anthias in a tank this size. You can get a group of younger ones, and one will turn into a male, so I wouldn't worry about having to sex them.

Wrasses are also a really cool idea though. Halichoeres might nip at inverts. I've only ever had mine eat snails that were flipped over, but YMMV.

I recently added a red flasher wrasse to my tank with 2 true perc. clowns, 1 firefish, a nudi, and a peppermint shrimp, and he was a fantastic choice! He is a very active but peaceful fish, and his colors are stunning! :)

Hawks are nice but can get agressive. Mine was fine for about 3 months but he is turning nasty. Chasing my blenny & every week there is another empty hermit shell laying on the bottom. I need to find a home for him cause I would like to get a cleaner shrimp or 2. it's kind of a bummer cause its a real energetic fish & alot of personality, its just proving to not mesh with the direction I want to go.
