    ok so i just bought a 75 gal tank and stand and i also have the dual under gravel filter systems and dual filters each one is rated for 70gal a piece so im good on that what else do i need? im wanting to do cichlids african perferbally i have a few rocks in there now but will get more also i did pea gravel then river rock on top it was alot cheaper that way......so what else do i need?i kno i need a heater what else and any suggestions on the heater?

    i like the stealth brand there all black and a type of plastic instead of glass. i would make sure your ph is in the right area. i know depending where cichlids originated it has different ph needs

    Cichlids like to move rocks and build caves (I have 3 cichlid tanks) Supply a few hiding places for them to go in case it gets aggresive (and it will at times) Cichlids like to establish a pecking order. Kinda like dogs establish alpha.

    +1. Stealth is a good heater, won't crack. Cichids are hardy fish but depending on the species they will thrive if you keep the correct water params from their native lake.
