I was gonna do a 20 gal long for a sump/fuge for my 52 gal....But I decided to go with my 10 gal instead.I have three FW fish in my 10 gal, and they really need more room, one being a black knife ghost.... I started another thread about having 4 chambers because of my hob skimmer. Now my new question is this:
Can I just have 3 chambers if I set it up like so: water flowing as follows:
Inlet from main tank to fuge w/ LS&LR w/ pump &tube to skimmer,
Water from skimmer outlet, through carbon to bubble trap,
bubble trap to outlet chamber w/pump to return to main tank.

I am assuming this is fine, just cutting back one chamber, and moving the skimmer pump to the inlet chamber instead of the second chamber...

sounds good, but I would make a drawing of it and post it here before I did anything.
