I was told what the latin name was, I'll check with the LFS.
They will typically eat anything they can fit in there mouth. Including fish, Shrimp, and crabs. But they are in the angler family so they camouflage and wait.
I don't have any fish it could eat and I'm hoping my cleaner shrimp are smart enough to avoid him.

I will need to feed him daily. In hind sight I should have put him in my frag tank for easy feeding. But I'll see how it goes.
I'm going to pick up some krill today and maybe a feeding stick

I'm not 100% sure because it was awhile ago, I read that its actually really bad to feed an angler once a day. I think it was because it was due to their digestive system. Well I'm guessing it depends on what you feed it. If its something small like brine shrimp, or mysis that should be fine. But if you feed them damsels or silversides, I would suggest feeding them once every 2-3 days.
I actually had one before in at 20g high, but unfortunately, my heater shot up to the 90s and everything in my tank died.
    Good luck with your angler

Takes me about 2 hours to find him every day. Then I have to try and feed him. LOL

I should have put him in the Frag tank
