    i want to switch to LED but i want to do a DIY, can anyone give me a step by step on it i want to set it for coral but right now it will be on a fish only tank, but once im settle i want to try to build a reef tank.

    Step by step is hard, there are SO many things that you can do. Rapid LEDs, or Reef LED lights, makes DIY pretty easy IMO, so I would use them.
