    HI,
I had a pretty little yellow tang that was nice looking seemed healthy, no problems with the tank he seemed happy eating the spirella flake and cleaning the rocks,[IMG]
My system is well cycled no real problems that I am aware of.
    He just dissapeared.
    Jeeze not sure why,
My primary tanks has a common tang no problems and numerous other fish.
    All share a sump.

Check the floor, lol. If you have a lot of crabs, there will not be any remains if it died.

Thats a mimic tang... not a yellow tang, and imo they are a little bit harder to keep

I was going to say the same thing but thought it might have been the angle of the pic. Good catch Breed

    J
55G may be a little small for a Tang causing stress to the fish

    Yes Sorry about your loss

If you are referring to A regal tang - Blue Hippo Tang (Paracanthurus hepatus) I would not consider them to be " Bullet Proof " at all,
They are actually considered a Moderate Care Level Fish and are much more prone to Ich than a Yellow Tang.

    I also Agree;D

THis VIdeo was take the DAy the tang disappeared

    HI,
My daugter came over fathersday and had a small nikon camera and shot this video you can see the tang was healthy and was gone the next day, never to be seen.
Stumped.. No fish to be found..
    YouTube - Finding Nemo

It was a cute video her first considering it was a simple camera no tripod, man it was a pain to edit down to 100 meg it lost considerable resolution considering its 140+ meg in the orignal format, had to convert to mpeg1. Jeeze I tried Winwoes and it was not in the correct format ,but my Nero software did compress it down and converted to Mpeg.

The Tang looks like it was healthy and doing well, I is defiantly a mimic tang though. It must have jumped out or something. I have just recently lost a Golden Head Sleeper Goby ( Just disappeared ) no sign of it any place. I does happen, Maybe a Bermuda triangle thing ;) ;D
