+1 on the baby copepods. They start out small like everything else :) Any good point and shoot camera would work well for you - don't really need high zoom. I have a Nikon D60 and it works well but for basic pictures, I wouldn't recommend it.

A lot of questions can be answered by doing some reasearch, such as clicking the search link close to the top of your page. The search feature on 3reef is awesome and full of good info! Here is a search for white dots.. you could word it differently to get more results I'm sure. White dots

sorry to have bothered you bm, but I could not find my answer thru search, I am familiar with search functions. Guess this is the sort of questions you get in the "New to the hoby forum"

Its no bother, unfortunately there are those that have decided that this is to be a forum that no one should ask any questions on, just use the search button.

I understand that sometimes its hard for a newbie to word a search so get a correct answer so they have to ask questions, So ask away because as you can see there are enough out there that will answer no matter what.

Thanks Gazog, I suppose people get bored when they see the same questions, but I imagine there are only so many "newbie" questions" to be asked, and since there are alot of newbies you'll get the same things over and over, but that said maybe they shouldn't get themselves all irritated by reading the "new to the hobby forum". Because of my post now when you search "white dots", this thread will show up.
