Can we put an Olive Snail and a Tiger Cowlry in the same tank? The olive snail eats other snails but the cowlry is 3 times the size of the olive. We know that both are not reef safe, so we are thinking of putting them in our 8 gal.

What do you think? Will they kill each other or live in peace together?

Also on a side note, what do you think about them living with a 3 in spearer mantis? (not for food of course!)

The Olive Snail won't be able to eat the Tiger Cowry, and I'm not even sure he could do it much damage if he were starving and suddenly found himself craving Cowry for supper. The Tiger Cowry will ignore the Olive. If the mantis is a spearer, he won't bother either of them.

    Cheers,
