Olympics Hockey - I'm smelling me a U.S. vs Canada final.

Just because it's Canada????? You wouldn't have hockey if it weren't for Canada!!!!!

Oh boy, living here in Michigan I have to want Team USA vs. Team Sweden. Half the Swedish team are Red Wings (yea!). I will have to root for team USA but may just root for Nick Lindstrom (Red Wing captain) and the Swedes secretly. Either way it would be the best match up in my opinion.

 

You know, I actually watched curling instead of just making fun of it and switching the channel. It's actually kind of interesting if you listen to them strategize and such.

With that said, I was very excited watching Canada kicking Russia's butt. I would love to have a US/Canada hockey match.

 

Au Contriere', you would have hockey but no one would know about it. Took America and the NHL (original six) to make it the success it is today.

US vs Canada game would be a treat for hockey fans everywhere,Swedes are not gonna be a walkover.Gotta love olympic hockey,I'm a little bummed that they've been usung some tv time outs in the later rounds,didn't see that in the preliminary games.

 

Oh, it doesn't matter. It's from Lacrosse from native American tribes that didn't consider themselves American nor Canadian.

 

actually i dont know how much of a success it really is. i think tractor pulls bring in a bigger tv audience. but i know thats not in all areas of the states. lots of rabid fans down there which is great.

if it does come down to canada\us , the night before im gonna have nightmares of ryan miller. that tender can win the game by himself. and in a 1 game all or nothing , tender's can be the game stealer.
