Omaha zoo and aquarium

I went to the Zoo in Omaha, NE over the weekend and took a few pictures at the aquarium that i though i could share. I took more than this, but these were the ones i thought were best.

A good day is a day at the aquarium or zoo.

Like the Cuddle fish and the Anthias. Quite the collection of Euphyllia they have, huge pieces.

 

Its quite the aquarium, thats not even all the tanks/pictures. If anyone ever has an opportunity to get over there i would highly recommend it. I even got a pic of the cuttlefish changing colors...i will see if I can find it.

Cuttlefish, cuttlefish... cuddle is what yo do with your companion... that puppy there is one of the most costly items to feed pound for pound at the zoo/aquarium.

I'd love to make it out someday to see Mitch's place (Curator)

 

I had it listed as cuttle fish at first but second guessed myself. sometimes i forget im on the internet and can look spelling up. LOL

 

I really like the top down shot and the fact they put those big mangroves in the DT, that would be a nice "mix of underwater terrains"

 

I do that all the time

and I called them cuddlefish for a while as well I even remembered the post to me about it and basically copied it for you
