The tarantula was cool, wolf spiders are lame and creepy.
What's also weird, we had tons of snakes at our old house, now we have more alligator lizards, I think they prey on snakes
    I would get house/feeder geckos

It will be -30 here in the next couple of weeks, where the temp will drop to -50 until jan - feb and then hopefully the snow and cold will be gone by mid April

We don't suffer with bugs, our weather kills them ALL.

Would love some bugs in exchange for a couple of months arctic weather.

    LoL

    Jealous .............. Yes very !

Living in a bird sanctuary, I do get a lot of bugs that try to invade my house, almost as if it were the beaches of Normandy. Unfortunately for them and me, I hate them, but there are just too many so some get in. Those stink bugs are ones that never seems to die no matter how hard I crush them. So I resorted to whacking them out of the sky (Via King Kong style on top of the empire state building) and then burning them to a crisp with my 5 torch butane cigar lighter. But there can be a lot, so when that happens just retreat, and live to fight another day. You have not had a bug problem, until you've met the camel cricket... now that's bad news.

I found myself doing the whacking with a broom yesterday and then I found myself a little crazed sooooo......calmed down, did some reading, it seems the anti-stink approach has worked a little bit - fewer today - like *poof* but it's early still and my aquarium light isn't on. Bought a new vacuum so I am armed for the fight today. Coraiiline, that is indeed the pest that I have. I will research where to find the traps with phernome.

ok, water change today and found tons of these stinky pests in my tank....so, I declared war with kung fu moves and all - along with karate yells with my new sweeper in hand and it was WAR! Flinging my sweeper hose like num chucks (sp) and sucking every single one of these stinkers into the death chamber. Found their hiding spot which was under pictures on the wall......I will win.......

My dogs are afraid of me right now lol

I am a tad fearful as well. :wreck:

Hibernation should be right around the corner :) Quite frankly they are not even attractive beetles. At least they do not bite.

LOL Corailline! You're right, they not only stink, they seem to like lights and saltwater and they are also extremely ugly. I'm glad they don't bite as well.
