omg. what did THIS to my plate coral?

    BTW please do not take my advice as gospel. I don't consider myself an expert in the least bit, but I would get some lugols solution and dip it. Honestly, we have had it in the frag tanks where I work and only lost the infected coral. Never seen it spread.

    you can also frag plate coral. I don't know if you knew that or not but there's a guy in my reef club who just fragged his fungia. As long as you get some of the mouth it will grow back. It will rely on photosynthesis untill it bounces back from the fragging.

    i don't have a diamond cutoff wheel, can i use a knife or something to cut it into half?

    I personally wouldnt frag it just yet, wait until tomorrow, to see if it get a little worse.

    Luna, this disease takes no time at all. Honestly, it could be completely dead by tomorrow.
