    sorry, but how do i perform it? never done one before, just take some tank water into a container and add some iodine?

    the iodine that you buy will have directions. Yeah you just use a gallon of tank water and the iodine.

    In general long tentacle plate corals are not hardy. Only the short tentacles ones are hardy. These usually do poor in home tanks after some time for reasons unknown to me. I used to feed mine too and he went downhill. My short tentacle is doing great with tentacles about 1/2 inch long and had him for 2 years. I kept both on the sandbad.
